Social with Charles River Club
We have arranged a social tennis event with the Charles River Club this coming Saturday August 30, from 2-4pm, at their club at 11 Massasoit St, Medway, MA 02053. Open to all members.
Currently we only have 3 female and 3 male participants. CRC has 6 women and 8 men attending. Let's see if we can match them! The format is doubles, casual competition. Singles Tournament
The STC Singles Tournament is only two weeks away, Friday evening September 5th through Sunday, September 7th. There will be A and B men’s/mixed divisions and a separate Women’s division. Friday evening matches may be scheduled for the A division, depending on turnout, but the other divisions will begin on Saturday. There is a $10 entry fee, which can be paid at the event. If you would like to participate, please sign up on Yourcourts, indicating the division in the comments section. The deadline for signing up is September 2nd.

SPEC Tennis
There will be another SPEC Tennis social event on Sunday September 14, from 4-6pm. Come on down for some fun.
Mixed Doubles Tournament Results.
The 2025 Sharon Tennis Club Mixed Doubles Tournament was contested this past weekend with thrilling matches across all three divisions, as 14 teams competed in one of the club’s most popular annual events.
In the A Division final, Catherine McLeod and Alex Howard delivered a strong performance to claim the title, defeating Michelle Schlesinger-Zaff and Scott Zenack in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.
The B+ Division final featured a nail-biting match between the father-daughter duo Hilary McCarthy and Eric Ryan, and the team of Yun Lester and Matt Ames. After splitting sets, McCarthy and Ryan edged out a dramatic win in the super tiebreak, 6-4, 1-6, (10-8).
In the B Division final, Michelle Fitzgerald and Irv Torbin emerged victorious in a closely contested 8-game pro set, defeating Sahar Forghan and Wedsky Moise 8-6.
Congratulations to all the participants for making this year's tournament a memorable showcase of competitive spirit and camaraderie on the court.
